Amanda Stewart, when she came back as a 21 year old, came back a much larger, taller more powerful woman than when she left. She had spent many years at her Keeper’s beck and call, herding his animals and otherwise serving at his whim. It was only when she discovered that those animals were other humans, taken, did she try to make a break for humanity again.
Unfortunately, within the thorns of the Hedge she was separated, and is now within the Freehold of the Sacred Principle as a member of the Autumn Court. It is well known that she is driven by her past, and frequently takes a pledge to serve as a mentor and teacher to new Changelings.
In the mortal world, she’s a tall broad-backed woman who works as an office manager for a small doctor’s office. To a changeling’s eye she’s a tall ogress, and fully capable of becoming more massive. No one’s quite sure why she is within the Autumn’s court, but she shows potential for a great number of tasks.
Most recently she had been mentor to the fresh-from-the-hedge Motley of the Broken Dreams (the NPCs). She revealed an ability to take wounds into her self when she saved one of the motley members, Gabriel/Michael from death after a brutal, public fight with his fetch. They both lived, although ‘Michael’ was sent off to juvie. Later, she rescued the rest of the motley from Briar wolves. When the freehold went hunting, she held down the base.
In 2009, during the annual Trod opening on the 4th of July, she went to heal the champion, Ruthie, and absorbed more wounds than she could live through; in Amanda’s dying breath Ruthie rose, uninjured to keep the freehold safe.
